I had my first French lesson with Flo tonight, and it was the best thing ever. I've discovered I'm much better at speaking French whilst driving in my car with noone listening than when there are people around and I have to talk about something. But it was so exciting! She's going to teach me how to speak about music and politics and other great things in another language so I can sound smart. It's quite depressing that, (oh modesty) I'm smart in English but in French I just sound like an idiot.
And so, to fill in the time before bedtime...

Yeah, it's busy and exhausting, and ina lot of ways unrewarding, but at the same time it's exciting and different and hopefully things will keep changing.

The fact I sat around with nothing to do, I have no computer at work and the internet on the only free one was dead so noone gave me anything to do.
