Oh yeah. Stupid.

postt

Dear I.C.,

Thankyou for not killing me with your difficult-ness. Thankyou for making it possible for me to finish. But maybe next time make it a teensy bit easier yes? No harm to you, lots of happiness for me. In any case, THANKYOU FOR BEING OVER!!

Love,
Zyllee

Dear Chem

Don't make me write anything.

letterization

Dear Lit,

Thanks for giving the worst questions in the poetry section ever. You ruined my chances of matching my last mark. Well done.

No love,
Zyllee

Dear I.C.,

Please, please don't be hard. Please be nice and simple and easy and make me happy. I've been practicing you for a long time now, so lets make it worth it, k?

Love,
Zyllee

Dear Chemistry,

Why are you so hard? Why do you have multi-choice as a huge part of the exam? Not fair. Not fair at all.

No love,
Zyllee

Dear P&L,

I hate you.
With an undying passion. Yes.

I spit in your face.
Zyllee

Dear Media,

Thankyou for being easy. But I wish you were a) more interesting or b) easier to not show up at. Keep this in mind.

Love,
Zyllee

Dear Nose,

Please please stop being blocked. I am sick of being told off and going through the lectures.

Love,
Zyllee

Dear Pool,

Stop distracting me from my studying.

No love,
Zyllee

Dear Letterbox,

Thankyou for giving me the invite to Fieldy's re-troh birthday partay! He turns eighteen! And he is old! But he is still a drummer. So life goes on as usual. Well done for fulfilling your important, if not somewhat mundane duties.

Love,
Zyllee

Study Update #6

This is getting worrying. I think I do more updates than actual studying.
But it makes for an interesting study break.

Time: 2:16pm
Studied: Great Gatsby. Without my book. I have abit of a problem cos I can't analyze a book without quotes - and I don't have a book so I don't have quotes so...I'll make them up =) Got to love the internet!

Other crazy news: Brumbys have employed Mikael. Strange because a) he's a boy and they never employ boys to work at bakeries, and b) It's Mikael. But I'm sure it shall work out splendidly. Cristina is now in love with the Turkish bread guy who is deaf and doesn't speak English, so that relationship is going to go very far.

Study Update #5

I didn't study between 4:13pm and 11:00pm yesterday.
Natey the fireman came over! Then we had dinner at the Armstrongs!
And relived our Bali holiday.
Current time is the ridiculous one of 6:10am, I'm on my way to work but I woke up too early and now have nothing to do - and the place is locked until 6:30 anyway.

Today = Lit day.
Tomorrow = Lit exam.

Study Update #4

Time: 2:52pm

I was mistaken before. Silly me. I forgot to do the second half of the first unit of History. So I have now just officially finished unit one of history.
Four to go!

I just had the best turkish bread in the whole world. I love the Turkish bread shop. It's real name is 'Gul-Dogan' but I think 'Turkish Bread Shop' has a better ring to it. They sell hot chips too. How come I can remember all this sort of stuff, but not Chemistry/History/P&L/Lit/Media/I.C.?

Crazy minds.
I am going to have studied the Periodic Table/Gases and Gas Laws section of Chemistry by 4:30. That gives me an hour and a half plus seven minutes, because the time is now 2:53.
This is just a very good reminder for everybody out there: do NOT leave your exam study until the week before. Or the weekend before.

Study Update #3

It is now Saturday.
I hate Chemistry with a raging, burning, undying passion.
I cannot remember a thing from those eight/nine hours of study yesterday.
Not a brass razoo. (That doesn't really apply here, but that saying makes me giggle).
I gave up on Chemistry this morning, and have started on History. Out of the five units we did (five HUGE units, may I remind you) - I have just finished covering number one.

*sigh*

In other sad news, Cat woke up thinking it was Sunday.
But really, Belinda Emmett died this morning. She was only 32 as well - feeling ... I don't know the right word to put here that won't sound blase and lame - but you know what I mean, for Rove and the rest of the family.

Also - 11/November. 1918 Armistice was signed between Germany and the Allies declaring peace. Ned Kelly was hung on this day in *insert year here*.
Fabulous hey?

Keep chuggin'

Study Update # 2

Started: 10:38am

Stopped: 11:03am

Re-started: 12:05pm

Current Time: 2:35pm

Study Completed: bits and pieces of things vaguely similar to Chemistry. Realized had forgotten to go to rehearsal this morning. Slight problem for the next time I see Mr. Chapman. Effectively completed four revision sheets, eight pages of notes and fifteen calculations, as well as beginning fun ionic equations. I bet you're not having as great a Friday as I am!

At least it's productive, I suppose.
*sigh* back to work!

Study Update

Started: 7:50am

Current Time: 10:37am

Study Completed:
Chemistry - Units 1,2,3 and halfway through four
Whole page of fun calculations

Total Time taken: 2 hr, 47 min

Not bad aye?
*sigh* best keep chugging along!

angryness

So much for finishing with a smile.

This week has been crap crap crap crap crap. And I'm not going to pretend I'm all excited about a weekend and a 'fresh start' because that is being fake-ly optimistic and I'm sick of that.

I hate this week and I hate next week.

*anger*

Most Random Questions You Will Ever Fill Out

I don't know how random they are. But beats Chem/History study

1) What side of the heart do you draw first? the left - I also tend to join the heart together so it's just one big continuous bendy line.

2) Can you dive without plugging your nose? umm yes...those nose plug things are strange

3) What color is your razor? blue & white

4) What is your blood-type? I think A positive, but I can't be sure. Mum's the one to ask for all that crazy type of information.

5) Who would you want to be tied to for 24 hours? Anyone with something decent to say.

6) What is a rumor someone has spread about you? There's been a couple actually - but I don't remember them well. Those are the things you try not to remember.

7) How do you feel about carrots? They're orange. And goood for you. Did you know that apparently slightly cooked carrots are better for you than raw carrots? Strange hey?

8) How many chairs at the dining room table? Eight, plus the rejected loner one on the side, so really nine. But that is an ugly ninth chair. So really more like eight and a half.

9) Which is the best Spice Girl? Ginger - cos I got to be here when we did the Spice Girls dance when I was nine so I've got the whole crazy caboodle of costume. Including a wig.

10) Do you know what time it is? It's called a clock silly! Or any variations on 'clock', including watch, mobile, laptop etc.

11) Do you know all the words to the Fresh Prince Theme Song? Naaah - and I have never felt inferior because of it.

12) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator? Call someone to get me the heck out of it. Elevators are no fun. Unless you jump while you're going down.

13) What's your favorite kind of gum? Chewy gum. And new gum, so it's still got flavouryness.

14)T or F: TRUE!

15) Do you have a crush on anyone? Naah

16) Do you know how to use some words correctly, but not know the meaning? I'm a Lit student. As well as History and P&L student. I think that answers your question.

17) Do you like to sleep? I love falling asleep and waking up.

18) Do you know which US states don't use Daylight Savings Time? Nup but I can tell you W.A. doesn't have it - and I'm worried I'll get too confused if we do.

19) Do you know the song Total Eclipse of the Heart? Sure do. 'Turn around...BRIGHT EYES...Every now and then I fall APART! And I need you *something* tonight...and I need you more than ever...' and so on.

20) Do you want a bright yellow '06 mustang? That sounds interesting. Will you give it to me for free?

21) What's something you've always wanted? Hmm...I can't pinpoint it to just one thing.

22) Do you have hairy legs? Naah - getting to the spiky stage =P Gross hey

24) Would you rather swim in the ocean or a lake? Not fussed - I like both. But lakes are good for the lack of waves.

25) Do you wear a lot of black? Not really any more. Not that I ever did, it was just easier than all the other colours.

26) Describe your hair. Layered, semi-orange.

27) Do you have Entomophobia? Umm...possibly?

28) Are you an adult? Nup - two more years until that 'officially' occurs.

29) Where is/are your best friend(s)? At home studying their backsides off. Like I should be.

30) Do you have a tan? BAHAHAHA! I laugh in your face.

31) Are you a television addict? Naaah not really hey. I have a few favourites but I can forgo TV for other things.

32) Do you enjoy spending time with your mother? Sure, when she's not mad at me for some reason or other which she decides to withhold from me.

33) Are you a sugar freak? Sadly yes. Need to work on that one.

34) Do you like orange juice? Only if it's pulpy =)

35) What star sign are you? Some rubbish about being on the 'cusp' - so like Gemini and...something else.

36) Where do you wish you were right now? About a week and a half from today - EXAMS OFFICIALLY OVER. Wait...a week and a half and one day. That'll be a goooooooooood feeling.

37) What should you be doing instead of this? Studying. Like everyone else in the world at the moment.

docos and biscuits

I brought home my doco to show Pop (and the rest of the family) tonight. I wasn't sure how it'd work out, if he'd think it was stupid, or lame, or embarrassing or just really really bad. And the whole time it was playing I was so worried he'd hate it, but he laughed at some of the bits about him, like the ducks, and at the end he was just crying and crying, and so was my nan, and I have never ever seen him cry before in my entire life. It was so incredibly hard, but it just felt like I'd satisfied the most important member of the audience I was aiming for. So I suppose that's a good start, and pretty much as close to perfect as you could ask for.

This week may be horrible, but I'm determined to see it through to the end and have it finished with a smile. Just watch me =)

almost there

You know how last time I was talking about how I wish I was more honest with people?
Well I've been thinking about that (in between copious amounts of study) and have decided that a) I wish I was more honest with people, and b) I wish I were more confident in confronting someone - cos confrontation doesn't really always have to be in-your-face nasty badness, it can just be getting up the guts to say something to someone's face - kind of like coming clean. At least, that's how I see it.

I think I know how I can get b) accomplished - it's just a matter of seeing the relevant people to get it over with.

On a much less serious note - it's FINALLY the end of normal school as we know it. From now on, it's revision, study and exams...then it's all over!!
Definitely looking forward to that one. As well as the holidays - freedom. Freedom has so many happy connotations.

*sigh* =)

yes

Something that has been bothering me lately is the fact that I don't really tell the truth all that often. Not in the sense of like 'who took the cookies?' sort of truth. Like if someone asks my opinion on something they've done, I'm most likely to just say I love it even if it's completely not good. Or if someone asks my opinion, I tell it, hear the other person's, feel bad for not agreeing and pretend to change it. Or, I don't know - there's plenty of examples but then I just sound nasty and mean. In any case, I don't really like it, cos it feels fake. So maybe I should change that.

Yes.

I want:

* to drop P&L. I don't understand WHY I am doing this course. It is boring. And stupid. And pointless. And silly. And my class SUCKS - if you want to see a perfect example of spoilt little St. Hilda's rich girls, come to this class. It's all beautifully on display, whiny voices and everything.
* to stop getting angry so easily.
* to see Mrs. Henderson do whatever on earth she did this afternoon in the hall
* my Media documentary to be good. Like, actually good.
* to eat a mango. I love mangos!
* to be able to drive
* smaller feet
* to have fondue. Like real fondue! In our fondue set. I said fondue four times in four sentences (including this one). Fondue. Five now!
* to watch She's the Man. Still haven't seen it yet
* to go on camp. Camp always makes everything seem less real.

STRESS

* My Media documentary, which I had so many hopes for! Is not good. No it is not. And I'm disappointed, because I hate it when I can see something planned out perfectly in my head and it doesn't work in real life.

* Arts Festy type goodness. How am I supposed to think of all these things?

* People being so judgemental at school - makes me stop and think.

* Stupid P&L essay stupid that I hate!! And can't write. And don't understand.

* I.C. not understanding that either.

* Chemistry being the hugest topic ever (on THREE chapters)

* Lit = BAD. That's all that needs saying.

* Youth. That's a whole story in itself.

...I need a holiday. And a good happy song to cheer me up.

Monday, October 23, 2006

great things about this weekend:

* the EP Launch and all it's associated goodness
* seeing all those youth people heaps of times!
* and even more specifically, seeing Kat bo-Bat I think three times in one weekend! That has got to be a world record! (By the way, if you read this I got your postcard =) and I love you!)
* realizing how much I love my job - lame I know, but I happen to like starting work at 6:30 - you get some cool people come in at that time
* realizing how much I love chocolate peanut butter birthday cake
* realizing how much I love Sarah Mc! Great birthday gathering!
* seeing Laney, and getting annihilated by her at Dance Dance Revolution! She is way too good at it
* doing all the work I put on my fancy little 'To Do List' and getting to cross them off!
* walking with Brooke - always good fun
* Body Combat with Brooke - also fun! I had a friend come with me! I love that!
* just the general weekendyness of it =)

And this week isn't looking too bad either!
