boys and booze

Seems like that's all anyone cares about these days - how many conversations about those two things are sustained for hours is staggering...

Slightly sad.

First day back and school, and nothing had changed - I really had kind of hoped it had over the holidays, like maybe they'd get over it or something, but nooo they're the same as they always were.

But I felt kind of different.

I hope that's a good thing!

Keep vigilant watch over your heart
that's where life starts
Don't talk out of both sides of your mouth
Avoid careless banter, white lies and gossip
Keep your eyes straight ahead
Ignore all sideshadow distractions
Watch your step
And the road will stretch out smooth before you
Look neither left nor right
Leave evil in the dust
